The 8th annual Women and Leadership Conference will take place at the Novotel Toronto Central Hotel from June 4-6. The full conference, workshops and CD-ROM costs $2995, the conference plus one workshop costs $2520, the conference plus the CD-ROM costs $2125, the conference itself is $1975 or a CD-ROM of the proceedings is $499. It is recommended that professional women and those in management who wish to strengthen their leadership skills attend this conference.
Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musee National Picasso, Paris is showing at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) from May 1-August 26. Tickets are $25, $21.50 for seniors, $16.50 for youth and students; a family pass is $62.50. People will be let into the exhibit at 50 minute intervals to avoid overcrowding. As with most exhibits, AGO members are admitted free; members will also have a chance to preview the exhibit from April 27-29.
